Writing is not one-sided. All writers love to hear from the people who read their work. I remember, after writing my first children’s book, Willard-The Humpback Whale, testing it on a girlfriend’s two small children. The “Oh’s” and other responsive comments let me know that the story was right! What a relief and feeling of happiness! There are readers and writers who do make wonderful comments within their interesting and delightful blogs. Check these out... With the wind whipping the sheets dry on the line in the bright sunshine, birds singing and performing their courting dances and other expressions of love, such as the male cardinal tenderly feeding his mate a seed, one may feel compelled to do as Susan Coolidge wrote in this poem: Take Heart With the DayEvery day is a fresh beginning. Listen my soul to the glad refrain. And, in spite of old sorrows And older sinning Troubles forecasted And possible pain, Take heart with the day and begin again. Robert Burns wrote a beautiful poem in 1794 that was put to music. Listen to this beautiful Scots song: My Love is Like A Red, Red Rose. Time, ferry me down the river
Friends carry me safely over Life, tend me on my journey Love call me home

Although I don’t comment on each article, I do read them all. You have always amazed me at the gift God has given you. Your command of the English language impressed me so.i will always remember the picnic at Harmony State Park 2017. A much cherished memory.keep writing.

You are, to me, one of America's hidden treasuer's, Ann Rains. I have always been a fan of your beautiful stories and always will be. Loved your poem and the wonderful song. But it sounded just a little off key.
